Stonington Vineyards has a lot to celebrate this year. Owners Nick and Happy Smith celebrate the winery’s 25th anniversary, which will no doubt make for an extra festive Summer Wine & Food Festival this Saturday, July 21.
Bring your family along to celebrate not only the range of wines offered for tasting, but a day in the vineyard with food, live music, dancing and friends. This is the 16th year for the festival, and trust me–it gets better every time. The vineyard is the perfect place to sprawl on the grass with a blanket and umbrella and relax, or dance your Saturday away.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can buy tickets in advance for $14. That’s a $2 discount (tickets are available at the door for $16), and under 17 get in free with an adult. Just because they can’t taste the wine doesn’t mean they won’t enjoy the day, so don’t hesitate to bring the kids.

Adults over 21: admission includes a free tasting. A summer day on the vineyard, sounds nice, right?
