Our very own Connecticut Tigers are perfecting their game, getting ready for the baseball team’s opening day this week (Wednesday, June 20) against the Lowell Spinners, the New York-Penn League Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

It’s the Tigers’ third season here at Dodd Stadium–wow, time flies, doesn’t it?–and the whole eastern Connecticut area is looking forward to it, I can say with certainty. These games are a great way to spend summer nights, days, weekends, you name it.

Opening day is always pretty awesome anyway, but fireworks will help kick it off. There’s new Tigers merchandise for sale this year too, so the store should be on your list to check out. Hats, bats, shirts, and more!
