Ocean Beach Park in New London Connecticut offers a National Geographic noted “best” beach with loads to do. This is a great family destination.

Check it out: sugar-sand beach, lovely view, lifeguards, boardwalk, mini golf, spray park, rides, arcade, work out center, olympic size pool, nature trail and changing facilities.

Yes’um they’ve got it all. Sitting on the beach looking out at the water and Ledge Light House though you wouldn’t know all that was going on behind you.

Sit on the beach with your summer read and relax. NO complaining from anyone. The variety of ages I brought along last time were happy ALL day.
