A weekend full of classics. The 37th Annual Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous at Mystic Seaport this weekend.

Antique boats will fill Mystic Seaport this Saturday and Sunday, July 28-29 at the 37th Annual Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous.

Boat enthusiasts, come check out the original condition and restored pre-1970 boats the Seaport will have on display: cruisers, sailboats, runabouts, launches. Boats will get awards for excellence in restoration, authenticity and workmanship, and the Huckins Yacht Corporation, one of the oldest family owned boat builders in the U.S., will be recognized.

Also on the Seaport grounds Saturday, the Austin-Healey Club of America will have vehicles on display on the Village Green. For those spending the night, you can also enjoy the Rum Runners’ Rendezvous on Saturday evening, a surf-themed party with lots of dancing and live music by the Driftwoods.

Sunday, the boats will parade down the Mystic River. Parade-goers will see the boats and their crews and hear each one be announced as they pass through the bridge. Whether you love boats or just want to take part in our summer season, this is one event dear to the hearts of boaters and landlubbers alike.
