We have it all around here – art, history,  food, wine, fun. And during the 8th Annual Connecticut Open House Day, we’re showcasing it. During Open House Day on Saturday, June 9, 2012 many of the tourism attractions the state is known for are offering FREE or discounted admission or displaying special exhibits and offering gifts or other cool and free incentives for visiting.

Not like you need much incentive to check out places like the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic or the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, but others you may not even know about (like the very cool Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes  in Pomfret or the Dalice Elizabeth Winery in Preston) are sure to keep our state on your list next time you’re looking for a New England getaway.
